Here are a few other creative ways we can connect. Check back for details on when the next workshops will be, or reach out with your interest.
If you, and any others you know, are interested in gathering for a workshop, I'm so happy to find a date that works for specific your group.
CREATING PERSONAL ARCHETYPE CARDS
It has been said that we engage our lives through the characteristics of a certain set of archetypes, or themes, that inform how we relate to our world. Representations of these archetypes can be found in our day to day lives, through a wide range of sources. Getting to know these archetypes we personally lead our lives with can help us better understand our motives and where our intentions are coming from. Collage is a great way of giving these themes form, as images that we can engage with, outside of the inner space of our minds. In this workshop we will be exploring a few of the archetypes you identify with and creating collages to represent them. What you create can be held as archetypes or messengers that highlight different themes that arise in your life.

BOOK MAKING & CREATIVE JOURNALING AS INTUITIVE SELF EXPRESSION
Imagine picking up a book- a journal, a scrapbook, a book of recipes- and feeling so comforted by it, so met by its essence that you recognize your own. In this workshop you will learn how to make not just a book, but a portal that invites and inspires you to meet yourself within its pages.
You will construct your book from beginning to end, using classic bookbinding techniques (including the long stitch method), specialty and handmade papers, as well as any extra adornments you might bring from home. We will explore ways in which your book can act as a host for your creative process of truth telling through words, images, and special additions that echo who you are.
Extra personalizing materials to bring from home may include: special coins, stamps, small pieces of art, handwritten letters, envelopes, passports, maps, special papers, hair, stickers, photos, stencils, antique keys, special ribbon or yarn, beads, stones and crystals, favorite quotes, and anything else that strikes your fancy.
Once your book has been created, you will be guided through a number of writing prompts and creative journaling techniques, offered as a way to deepen your relationship with yourself, to step more fully in to your personal process and your life's dreams.
